CIMC Offshore Engineering Assets will deliver jack-up rig “Wan Zuan 3” for operation in South China Sea
Tianjin Kaisheng Offshore Engineering Equipment Leasing Co., Ltd., a member company of CIMC Offshore Engineering Assets, recently held a ceremony in a shipyard of Yantai CIMC Raffles to deliver the 300-foot jack-up platform "Wan Zuan 3" (WZ3). The rig will head to South China Sea for workover operations.
The customer representative team of CNOOC, the project team of COSL, the representatives of CCS Classification Society, the project team of CIMC Raffles and the offshore engineering asset team of CIMC attended the ceremony.
With the F&G SUPER M2 design, the WZ3 could be operating at a depth of 300 feet and its drilling depth reach 30,000 feet.

The person in charge of the offshore engineering assets of CIMC said that the Company had previously cooperated with COSL for a number of projects, and the successful delivery of the WZ3 marked another important step for the cooperation between the two parties in the field of energy equipment. On this basis, in the future, both parties will further leverage their respective advantages to jointly contribute to the oil and gas exploration and development and energy supply security of China.
