a nice kind of itch

After the MBTI-slash-Team building activity on Wednesday, Rachel and I trooped to the World Trade Center for the Manila International Bookfair. I don’t know if it’s just because it’s the first day, and it’s only past 4 p.m. but somehow, the bookfair didn’t amaze but didn’t disappoint either. It’s just like having all your favorite bookshops under one roof. Seeing tons of books was heaven, walang exag. After making the rounds, I settled with 3 books and Rachel bought 2. We just had a light dinner then we headed home.

I can consider August as my book-buying month for this year. I bought 15 books in all since the month started. Nothing to complain about, even if I can partly blame it when I settle for crackers or oatmeal packs for lunch. It’s a nice kind of itch, no regrets.
