let’s do a fonzie

I will not allow negative input into my mind. Happiness is a choice and I choose to be happy.

This is part of Tom Hopkins’ Rules For a Perfect Day. Now, I don’t aspire to have a “perfect” day, but still, I want to make it burden-less as much as possible.

So this means I will refrain from thinking about it.

• Today, we are going to celebrate Kats’ birthday because she will be on leave tomorrow. We’re goin’ Mexican!

• My computer is still not working, but it’s okay, because someone committed to look at it this weekend.

• I didn’t read enough for my classes but I found renewed pleasure in reading books of the young adult genre from my TBR pile. This must be brought by my curiosity for Kate Brian’s books (the PRIVATE series), and of course, Endymion Spring, which I already saw in trade paperback in Fully Booked (which was ironically more expensive than the hardbound copy in Powerbooks). I am also itching to buy Rebel Angels, Libba Bray’s sequel to A Great and Terrible Beauty, and Forever in Blue, the 4th installment in the Traveling Pants series. I remember how much I am into the “sisterhood” two years ago. Anyway, what I pulled from my shelf was the 3rd book in the Seven Deadly Sins series, Pride. I love reading YA books because I usually finish them in one sitting, and it’s less stressful.

• I am excited for American Idol tomorrow. I mentioned I gained an unusual interest in this reality show, right? But of course, nothing comes close to Friends. And now I discovered that ETC moved it’s Season 10 episodes on Mondays at 8:30p (still after Will & Grace), then Star World started re-airing Season 1 every 6:30 p on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (Wednesdays and Thursdays are for Idol)! I just can’t wait for Prison Break to return, and for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Dirt to be shown here.
