Lynette meets Harriet

I’m so fan-girl happy. I know, I’m probably too late to have discovered this but it made me all the more excited to watch Season 4. Yes, more than Orson love, which actually until Desperate, I have associated the name with a pig. =)

Lynette Gets a Sister

Felicity Huffman’s character Lynette Scavo has had a large family on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” since the show premiered in 2004. Now the word is out, in addition to veteran actress Polly Bergen who plays Lynette’s mother, Sarah Paulson of “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” fame is also joining the dramedy as Lynette’s sister.

Felicity Huffman appeared as herself in the pilot episode of “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” last year and remains good friends with Sarah Paulson who attended the launch of Huffman’s book earlier this year.

I love Felicity Huffman (and husband William H. Macy) and I really respect her even if i feel she’s a commercially-underrated absofu**inglutely talented thespian. However, I wonder what is it about openly gay personalities that I love? I super like Sarah Paulson even beyond Studio 60 and of course, I have announced that I am so enamored with Ellen Degeneres. Maybe they’re really that interesting. Anyway, I read somewhere that Sarah’s partner, Cherry Jones, will play the President in 24. I can’t say much about it because I have not watched a single episode of the show. Anyway…season premieres abound and we should all be happy.
