WWW Wednesdays (5)

WWW Wednesdays is hosted by MizB ShouldBeReading.  To play along, just answer the following questions:

1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you’ll read next?

1. I am currently reading The Mark of the Assassin by Daniel Silva to kick off my Manfiction September personal readathon. It is the first book in Silva’s Michael Osbourne series. I like it so far because a terrorist tragedy was smack dab in the middle of presidential campaign season so it has a little timely vibe.

2. I just finished The Boyfriend Thief by Shana Norris. I liked it because the depiction of a young adult is as close to what I think young adults should be – tough, resilient, but still fumbling and sometimes clueless. They have the widest learning curves which they rightly deserve.

3. Most likely, I will read White Lilies in Autumn by Dustin Bradshaw. Dustin is my work colleague and friend so we’re all excited for his book. I owe him an Amazon review so people would know about his book. It is categorized as self-help/non-fiction so it will balance out all the espionage and suspense things going on because of my PRAT.

  1. I haven’t heard of any of your books. But what fun you have a friend who writes! 🙂 I am trying to remember if I’ve read a Daniel Silva book… I think I have to look at his covers to jog my memory.

  2. Best of luck to your friend on his book. 🙂 New follower too. Here is my romance week! Have a great one!

  3. Hmmmm, Daniel Silva, one of the ladies in bookclub swears by his books and reads every one, in hardcover no less. I will be looking forward to your review! I might have to pick one up to see what all the fuss is about. 🙂
Thanks for swinging by my WWW today (new follower)
